This renovation project was the transformation of the south end of the McNamara Terminal food court within the Detroit Metropolitan Airport. It acts as a point of destination as a bookend to terminal A, with two equally unique but distinct experiences for the airport guest. The “POD” concept is aimed at creating a village of unique “pop up” style food venues designed and arranged in a manner that creates an iconic environment proudly offering the national brands of Qdoba, Pinkberry, Chick-fil-A, and Gordon Biersch. Contrasting a traditional food court setting, the food court offers a unique gate hold dining experience.
