Southland Center.

     outhland Center was designed by legend Victor Gruen and is one of America's first shopping centers.  With a lack in attention to leasing over the past 2 years, Rouse Properties presented Studio H2G an opportunity to revitalize and energize two large courts and one inactive end at Southland Center.  Studio H2G's challenge was to create new retail experiences that become a collective destination and more than traditional RMU parking places.  We looked at current customer experience and sparked new life to these zones with pop-up retail shops and appropriately zoned amenities, balancing revenue with social activities.  A strong focus on providing meaningful design to attract new tenants has brought in names such as H&M and Cinemark.  Estimated time for completion is Thanksgiving.
