The design team worked closely with the client to deliver an experience that would communicate the brand vision to the shoppers. Looking to historic urban markets for inspiration, the long display tables in the “grocery” area of the store are reminiscent of antique markets or home goods retailers.
Sustainability was part of the conversation throughout the design process. The design team worked closely with the client to develop an environment that incorporates various elements of sustainable design such as highly efficient refrigeration and cooking equipment, FSC certified wood, and high efficient lighting). The same theme and principles of environmental awareness also finds its way into Glen’s Garden Market’s brand identity.
